Jet-Lube Moly Mist Dry Film Lubricant 340g

Moly-Mist lowers friction, prevents galling, seizure, stickslip, fretting, corrosion and metal-to-metal contact; reduces torque and power consumption.

Molybdenum Disulphide (MoS₂) is a solid, dry-form lubricant with a coefficient of friction of only 0.03. Under sliding pressure, it will bond to ferrous and nonferrous metals, plastics, glass, rubber, wood, etc. It has high chemical and thermal stability; is inert to water, oil, alkalis, many acids and solvents.

  Applications

As a surface prep moly based spray for reducing torque on assemblies requiring a dry film lubricant in place of an anti-seize or grease lubricant. Quick penetrating fluid, dries quickly leaving behind the micro sized moly particles working as a dissimilar material to aid in assembly or disassembly.

Not recommended for oxygen service.
